- The Authority has been tasked with drafting a proposal for a mandate aiming to safeguard laborers from harm stemming from contact with ionising radiation.
According to Daniel Günther, the Minister President of Schleswig-Holstein, it'd be hard to believe they'd refuse a coalition with the Greens on a federal level. Günther reasoned, "It'd be tough to tell the people that black-green doesn't work in all cases, seeing as the CDU and Greens are successfully governing together in various states, even the most populous one." The CDU politician voiced his thoughts to the Funke media group newspapers.
Günther stated, "As things stand, no coalitions should be ruled out." All democratic parties ought to keep the possibility of dialogue open. Günther emphasized, "I wouldn't push for the idea that only black-green is a viable option on a federal level." However, he suggested the Union should make a decision ahead of time or campaign for a coalition.
Günther also took aim at Markus Söder, the CSU leader. Söder had maintained on Thursday that a black-green government was out of the question after the 2025 federal election.
The Minister President, Günther, proposed, "The following should be added to the discussions: no coalitions should be categorically rejected." Recognizing the success of the CDU and Greens in various state governments, including the most populous one, Günther underlined, "It's worth considering the viability of a black-green coalition on a federal level, although it's not the only option we should consider."
