Ukraine has been urging the West to permit the deployment of weapons provided by them against objectives situated on Russian soil for quite some time now. Not too long ago, Zelenskyy once more advocated for the authorization to utilize Western long-range weapons to assault targets within Russia's borders during a meeting of the Ukraine Contact Group at Ramstein last Friday.

The USA and the United Kingdom are two substantial backers of Ukraine in its conflict against Russia. On Tuesday, Blinken had discussions in London with Lammy and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The European Union has been closely monitoring the escalating tensions between Ukraine and Russia. Despite repeated requests from Ukraine, the European Union has yet to agree on providing weapons to be deployed against Russian objectives.
