The administrative authority negates Trump's assertions concerning challenges in the realm of renewable energy.

During a televised debate with Democrat contender Kamala Harris, Republican Trump cautioned against abandoning fossil fuels. He asserted in his closing speech, "Germany gave it a shot, and inside a year, they were constructing conventional power plants once more."

Contesting this claim, a representative from the Federal Ministry of Economics in Berlin stated, "Numerous facts disagree with this assertion." The Foreign Office echoed the same sentiment, posting on its English-language X channel, "Regardless of personal opinions: Germany's energy system is operational, with over half its energy coming from renewable sources." Contrary to what Trump suggested, coal and nuclear power plants are not undergoing rebirth but rather being phased out.

Despite Trump's assertion during the debate, many officials in Germany, such as the Federal Ministry of Economics and the Foreign Office, have refuted his claims about the resurgence of conventional power plants. The Republicans, led by Trump, may hold different views, but the data clearly shows that Germany is heavily investing in renewable energy sources.
