Techno at Tesla: The E-Auto factory in Grünenheide near Berlin has, according to management statements, its own club. Tesla factory manager André Thierig announced on the online network Linkedin "the latest installation" of the factory with images of colorful laser beams, record players, a DJ, and a lit-up tunnel. "Hamster is now alive!", he wrote, referring to the name of the rave club (German: "Der Hamster lebt jetzt").

US company CEO Elon Musk tweeted in 2020 before the opening of the Tesla factory in Grünenheide: "Tesla should have a Mega-Rave Cave under the Berlin Gigafactory."
The US automaker has opened its only European factory in Grünenheide in March 2022. According to company statements, around 12,000 people work there.
