Terraced house burns down completely: family of four rescued

A multi-storey terraced house in Altenstadt (Wetterau district) completely caught fire on Tuesday night. The family of four living there was rescued, according to the police. A 16-year-old girl was slightly injured and suffered smoke inhalation.

Wetterau district - Terraced house burns down completely: family of four rescued

A multi-storey terraced house in Altenstadt(Wetterau district) completely caught fire on Tuesday night. The family of four living there was rescued, according to the police. A 16-year-old girl was slightly injured and suffered smoke inhalation.

According to the police, the fire affected the first floor, second floor and roof of the house, but was extinguished relatively quickly. In the early morning, only extinguishing work was still being carried out. The cause of the fire was initially unknown. The fire broke out on the second floor, said a police spokesman.
