- Tens of thousands expected at Technofestival Nature One

At the Nature One techno festival in the Hunsrück, tens of thousands of people are expected this weekend. From Friday evening (8:00 PM) onwards, over 350 artists will take to the stages, according to the organizers. This year's lineup includes Charlotte de Witte, Paul van Dyk, Shlømo, Lilly Palmer, and Alle Farben.

Oliver Vordemvenne from the organizer I-Motion stated that they expect roughly the same number of visitors as last year - significantly over 50,000. The exact number is still difficult to predict. Visitors have already been arriving since Wednesday.

But will the weather put a damper on the festival spirit? The German Weather Service expects showers and isolated thunderstorms in Rhineland-Palatinate for Friday. However, it should remain largely dry on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures are forecast to reach up to 27 degrees Celsius on all three days.

A total of 85 musicians will perform on the five main stages during the Friday and Saturday nights. The festival has been taking place since 1995 and was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite the potential rain on Friday, many enthusiasts are still eager to attend Nature One in Rhineland-Palatinate, given that Germany is home to numerous techno music fans. Germany is also the birthplace of several renowned artists performing at this year's festival, such as Charlotte de Witte and Alle Farben.
