Enjoying a game of tennis? - Tennis star Zverev intends to drop out of the Stuttgart grass court event.

German tennis pro Alexander Zverev may skip the grass event in Stuttgart following his loss in the French Open final. "The odds of me playing in Stuttgart are equivalent to leaving here and winning the finale," the 27-year-old stated after last Sunday's 3:6, 6:2, 7:5, 1:6, 2:6 against Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in Paris. He added, "We'll see."

Alexander Zverev, the eighth-ranked athlete, had previously promised to join the Stuttgart grass event at Weissenhof. The organizers have been promoting his participation as a main-draw entry for the past few days. The tournament at the Weissenhof kicks off on Monday.

Zverev's last Stuttgart tournament was five years ago. In 2019, the best German tennis player exited the competition in the first round, bypassing his opponent Dustin Brown, a specialist in grass from Lower Saxony.
