After a car accident near Wiemersdorf (district of Segeberg) on Sunday evening, a 10-year-old girl died. First responders and firefighters performed CPR on the child until emergency services arrived, as reported by police today. However, the girl later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

Three other people were severely injured in the accident on the L319 road between Wiemersdorf and the exit for Großenaspe. Initial findings suggest that a 25-year-old man driving a van crossed into oncoming traffic at around 7:20 PM. The 38-year-old father of the girl was unable to avoid the collision, resulting in a head-on crash. His 37-year-old wife was taken to a hospital by ambulance. Both drivers were transported to the clinic by helicopter.

Despite the efforts of the first responders and firefighters, the severity of the car accident near Wiemersdorf resulted in the unfortunate death of the 10-year-old girl. The accident on the L319 road also left three other individuals with severe injuries, adding to the tragic circumstances.
