Ten injured in apartment fire in Bremen
Ten people have been injured in a fire in an apartment building in Bremen - three of them seriously. A woman jumped out of panic from one of the upper floors early on Saturday morning, according to the fire department. She and two other people were seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital. Seven other residents were slightly injured.
According to the police, it is still unclear why the fire was able to break out in the apartment on the second floor. According to the fire department, around 110 rescue workers were on the scene. Almost the entire roof of the house had to be covered for the extinguishing work. The operation lasted until the midday hours.
The fire in the apartment building resulted in several emergencies. The police are currently investigating the cause of the fire on the second floor.
