The traffic disruption caused by the accident on the A7 led to delays for commuters heading towards Hanover from Gottingen. The Police in Lower Saxony are warning drivers to be extra cautious during wet weather conditions due to the recent incident. Despite the temporary closure of the A7, alternative routes were suggested to avoid traffic congestion, such as taking the B3 towards Goettingen.
