Berlin-Marzahn - Teenagers throw metal grating and e-scooter from high-rise building

A group of youths threw a metal grating and an e-scooter from the 18th floor of a high-rise building in Berlin-Marzahn. On Tuesday afternoon, the youths smashed the approximately 40 by 60 centimeter grid against the façade of the arcade and then threw it downwards, police said on Wednesday. The grille hit the ground next to the building entrance.

The group then also threw down an e-scooter. It smashed through the canopy of the entrance to the house. Meanwhile, the group was cheered on by other young people standing in front of the house, the police said. Passers-by noticed what was happening. Both groups fled before the emergency services arrived. No one was injured. The criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation.
