A teenager has passed away due to carbon monoxide poisoning in Wiesbaden. The 16-year-old girl was found unconscious in the shower of an apartment and died in the hospital, as reported by a fire department spokesperson on Saturday evening. According to the fire department, it is suspected that the water heater in the bathroom was defective, which could have led to the very high concentration of carbon monoxide. During the rescue service call in the afternoon, carbon monoxide detectors went off. Other people in the building were reportedly checked cautiously, the building was evacuated, and the streets were closed.

The carbon monoxide poisoning incident occurred in Wiesbaden, Hesse, Germany. Due to the rescue operation, the affected building was evacuated and its surroundings were briefly closed.
