Drugs - Teenager dies after taking ecstasy

A 16-year-old in Hamm has died after taking ecstasy. Police and the public prosecutor's office announced on Monday that the teenager had been admitted to hospital on 9 December with life-threatening symptoms. He had previously consumed the ecstasy together with a teenager of the same age and lost consciousness in the course of the evening. The investigation into the origin of the pills is ongoing. The criminal investigation department is also investigating the cause of death.
