A 17-year-old cyclist was overpowered by the Donau floods in Niederbayern. Police representatives from the Niederbayern Police Department reported on Tuesday evening that the young man was found mostly unharmed. The teenager had tried to cross a footbridge in Bad Abbach, located in Kelheim's Niederbayern district, with his bike. He seemed to think crossing the bridge was still feasible. Unfortunately, he was carried away by the water masses. He was found hanging in a tree. Someone passing by raised the alarm, informing emergency services.
