Fire - Technical defect in the fireplace: fire in a detached house
A technical defect in the chimney caused a fire in a detached house in Wartmannsroth (Bad Kissingen district). The fire broke out on the first floor on Thursday and spread to the upper floor of the house, according to the police. No people were injured. The house was reportedly unoccupied due to renovation work. The damage was in the mid six-figure range.

The fire incident occurred in Lower Franconia, specifically in Wartmannsroth, which is part of the Bad Kissingen district in Bavaria.
