Theater - "Tarifzone Liebe": BVG musical celebrates premiere in Berlin
A big performance for the streetcar: the musical "Tarifzone Liebe - die Gefühle fahren Straßenbahn" by Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) celebrates its premiere on Monday evening (7.00 pm). The one-hour play will be performed in Berlin's Admiralspalast with specially composed and written songs. According to the BVG, it is about the love story between the streetcar "Tramara" and its passenger Alexander. The company promises a "spectacular show - cult, corny and of course highly romantic".
The approximately 2,600 tickets for the performances on Monday and Tuesday were sold out within 24 hours, as Christine Wolburg, Head of Sales and Marketing at BVG, said. The premiere will be shown live on the BVG's YouTube channel.
