During a public training session for the press, Tapir Theo demonstrates how he will act as an oracle to predict the results of Germany's matches at Euro 2024.

Creatures - Tapir practices hard for his role as soccer prophet

The tapir will have to pick from three different balls: two of them have the colors of the competing sides, and the third one signifies a draw. The zoo declared on a Tuesday that all three balls will contain the same kind of food to prevent any manipulation of God's choice. The first ball the tapir consumes will then represent the tip for the Euro 2020 oracle. Zoo visitors can watch this oracle make its choice daily at 10:00 a.m., except on weekdays leading up to a Germany game.

The European Football Championship, or EM, is the tournament that the tapir's predictions will be focusing on. The All-weather zoo Münster, located in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, has been preparing for this unique oracle event. One can find a variety of animals in the zoo, including the tapir, who shares his enclosure with other creatures. Just minutes away from the zoo, the Minster stands as a historic landmark, attracting both locals and tourists to the region.
