German top-flight football league - Talks have begun for a potential contract extension with Sané.

Leroy Sané, a football player for the national team, is planning to renew his contract with FC Bayern Munich, which ends in summer 2025. During an interview with "Kicker," the 28-year-old stated, "I've talked about how much I love playing for FC Bayern multiple times over the past few weeks. We'll revisit our conversations after the Euros at an appropriate moment." The Munich team is eager to retain Sané as well.

Having played alongside Vincent Kompany (38) at Manchester City, Sané is confident in his new Bayern coach's abilities. "I wholeheartedly believe that he'll do a fantastic job at FC Bayern," shared Sané. Kompany's aspirations make him "so ambitious" and should help him become an excellent coach.

Sané fondly recalls their past experiences. "He was a natural leader with an impeccable character. Everyone respected him, and he led by example. Kompany also devoted considerable care to assisting young players, giving us the support we needed."
