- Tah is not going to FC Bayern

The transfer of football national player Jonathan Tah (28) to FC Bayern Munich is reportedly not happening after all, according to a "Kicker" report. Apparently, Tah will not be changing teams this summer, regardless of the necessary sales yet to be made by the German record champions.

On Tuesday, "Kicker" had reported that Bayern had supposedly agreed with Bayer Leverkusen on a transfer for the central defender, but that the deal was not yet finalized. The Munich team and the German double winners had supposedly agreed on the terms of the release. However, it now seems that this is not the case.

The reported agreement has caused confusion.

Tah still has a contract with his current team, led by coach Xabi Alonso, until the summer of 2025. However, it was said that he did not want to renew it and that he had already agreed with FC Bayern on a contract. Bayer was also keen to continue working with their defensive leader.

According to "Kicker", there is no general agreement within FC Bayern about Tah. According to "Bild", the supposed agreement between Bayern and Tah has caused surprise at Bayer. They have supposedly set a deadline for Tah's transfer until the weekend, which is still running.

Despite the reported agreement between Jonathan Tah and FC Bayern, it appears that the transfer is not proceeding as planned. Regardless, Bayer Leverkusen still holds hope of keeping their defensive leader, as there seems to be no unanimous decision within FC Bayern regarding Tah's transfer.
