A refugee shelter with approximately 220 people in Neu-Ulm, Swabia, Germany, was evacuated on Sunday due to flooding, with the evacuees being relocated to a school hall in the city, as per a district office representative.

At the same time, the representative revealed that the clinic in Weißenhorn would undergo a precautionary evacuation. "If a heavy rainfall happens to strike Weißenhorn and an evacuation becomes necessary, the time frame wouldn't be sufficient," they mentioned. Approximately 100 people would be impacted, including six to seven intense care patients.

In Pfaffenhofen, a clarification facility malfunctioned. Apparently, a THW pump was being employed to maintain the clarification plant, the statement added. As of now, the rivers Roth and Leibi in the city center and the northern district of Sorgen were mainly influenced.
