Unions Berlin new trainer Bo Svensson sees his fellow countrymen as underdogs in the EURO-16th round, but not without a chance. "I think it looks good - for Denmark", said the 44-year-old in response to being asked about the game on Saturday evening (21.00 Uhr).
"It's a little funny that it comes to this constellation now. Especially for me", said the Dane at his presentation in Berlin on Wednesday. "In general, I believe that it's good for the Danes to be considered underdogs. They delivered their best performance in the group stage against the English."
He has the impression that in the German press, everyone expects the German team to go through. "It's a routine team that I wouldn't underestimate as a German. Germany is the favorite, that's clear, but I believe it will be more difficult than many imagine", said the long-time Bundesliga pro. Denmark have only lost one of their last 15 games.
