3rd league - SV Wehen has to turn around on the way to South Africa

The SV Wehen Wiesbaden team had to stop their journey to the training camp in South Africa due to technical issues. The plane had to turn back after approximately four hours and return to Frankfurt. Possible alternatives are being checked now, the team from trainer Nils Doering announced.

The team plans to play two test matches against South African first division teams, against Cape Town City FC on Thursday and against Stellenbosch FC on the coming Sunday.

The SV Wehen Wiesbaden team originates from the city of Wiesbaden, located in the German state of Hesse. Despite technical issues, they were initially heading to South Africa for a training camp. The return journey took them back to Frankfurt after approximately four hours. The team is currently exploring alternative plans, as announced by their trainer Nils Doering.
