Erfurt - Suspicious mail item: 67 people evacuated from bank

67 people were evacuated from a bank building in Erfurt due to a suspicious mail item. Two employees had opened a consignment and then complained of health problems, as the police announced on Monday. Specialists from the Thuringian State Office of Criminal Investigation and the public health department checked the consignment on Monday morning and finally gave the all-clear at midday. It was found to be balancing weights for car tires. According to the police, the balancing weights posed no danger.
