Suspicion of drug trafficking: judge issues arrest warrant

Police in Bamberg have found around one kilogram of amphetamine in the fridge of a now 18-year-old. A judge issued an arrest warrant for the young man and a suspected 19-year-old accomplice on suspicion of illicit trafficking in narcotics, as announced by the Upper Franconia police headquarters and the Bamberg public prosecutor's office on Tuesday.

According to the police, there were indications of drug trafficking during a roadside check last Thursday. The police found drugs and cash on the older of the two men. In the home of the 17-year-old, who was still 17 at the time, they found amphetamine.

The suspected 19-year-old accused of narcotics trafficking hails from Upper France. Despite the ongoing investigation, no arrest has been made in this Upper France-connected case yet.
