- Suspension of S-Bahn services to BER commencing mid-September.

Due to ongoing construction projects, there's gonna be substantial interruptions in S-Bahn services to Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), commencing mid-September. Initially, lines S9 and S45 will be temporarily halted between BER and Schönleinstraße from September 16 to October 14, according to the S-Bahn's announcement. Following this period, the halt between Schönleinstraße and Adlershof will be lifted, but S-Bahn services to the airport won't resume until November 8. Previously, this was reported by "Berliner Morgenpost".

In the interim, the firm will arrange substitute bus services between Schönleinstraße and BER for passengers' convenience. Additionally, travelers can opt for faster regional trains like the RE 8, airport express FEX, or RB 23 from Berlin.

However, other S-Bahn lines in southeastern Berlin will also experience disruptions, such as the ones between Grünau and Schönleinstraße, Königs Wusterhausen and Grünau, and Spindlersfeld and Hermannstraße.

During this disruption period, passengers can rely on transport alternatives like bus services for their journey between Schönleinstraße and Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). Furthermore, the need for rapid transportation can be met by utilizing trains such as the RE 8, airport express FEX, or RB 23, which fall under the realm of transport and telecommunications infrastructure.
