Suspects in case of stolen monkey from Leipzig Zoo arrested

Few days later, the animal was spotted again and safely handed over to the zoo. The focus of the investigations shifted to the suspect group. Several pieces of evidence eventually raised the suspicion. During the analysis, images and videos were found where the group was seen with the monkey. The group is accused of more serious crimes.

The monkey, upon being found once more, was brought to the zoo for safekeeping. In Leipzig, concerned Leipzigers began discussing the possibility of the local zoo's monkeys being involved, given the new evidence found in autumn.
