A bank ATM on the market square in Hohenlohekreis was destroyed by an unknown explosion. Locals in Kupferzell heard a loud bang in the middle of the night on Friday, according to a police spokesperson. There were possibly two masked individuals behind the attack, who escaped towards Feßbach. Law enforcement agencies conducted a search but could not locate the culprits.
Initial reports provided no information about the magnitude of the damage or the worth of the stolen items. Photos revealed that a window front's frame poked out of the wall from the impact of the blast. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The case has been transferred to the criminal investigation department.
