Through an accident involving a stolen car, the police have tracked down a suspected burglar. The 21-year-old suspect was taken into custody, as the police announced on Tuesday. He is accused of breaking into a Munich workshop on the night before Saturday. There, he allegedly stole cash and diagnostic tools. After that, he allegedly lowered a car from a hoist and drove away.

During the ensuing escape, the car struck several parked cars multiple times. Eventually, the vehicle became impaled and could no longer move. Shortly thereafter, police officers arrested the 21-year-old from the car and took him into custody. He did not have a driver's license. The officers found the stolen goods in the car.

A judge issued a warrant for the arrest of the young man afterwards. He is required to answer for allegedly committing burglary and grand theft. The investigators suspect that there was another accomplice involved in the incident. However, this has not been definitively determined yet. The investigation is ongoing.
