Experts from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service have been alerted due to a suspected bomb in Plauen. A suspicious object, which could be a bomb, was discovered during construction work in the city center this morning, the city administration announced on Thursday. The specialists were then informed. The police also cordoned off the area within a radius of 200 meters. The experts would have to decide whether people should be evacuated and in what radius. They were on their way from Dresden to Plauen, it was reported at midday.
