A 28-year-old suspect is in custody following a series of arson incidents in Stuttgart. He is accused of setting twelve fires, according to a joint statement from police and the public prosecutor's office. He allegedly set fire to ten cars, a life ring, and a trash can. When a witness reported a burning trash can on Königstraße early Tuesday morning, officers discovered the 28-year-old during their search. He was then suspected of having set fire to a car about a week earlier. Further investigations also pointed to him in connection with the other fires.

The witness notified the Police about the burning trash can, leading to the suspect's discovery. Subsequently, the Police arrested the suspect in relation to the series of arson incidents.
