NFL boss Roger Goodell smiles at a press conference before the Super Bowl

Super Bowl: NFL boss would find show with Swift incredible

NFL boss Roger Goodell has outed himself as a big fan of musician Taylor Swift and can definitely imagine the pop singer performing at the Super Bowl. "Taylor Swift would be an incredible act for the halftime show," said the 64-year-old in an interview with the German Press Agency, revealing: "I've already been to two of her concerts this year. I have three Swifties in my house". The 33-year-old's fans call themselves Swifties. However, the next Super Bowl on February 11 in Las Vegas will probably have to do without Swift. The American football league NFL had already announced that singer Usher would be the main act. Swift would therefore not be able to host the legendary and globally acclaimed half-time show until 2025 at the earliest. "She's a talented entertainer. I also go to her concerts to see how she entertains people," Goodell enthused.

The artist is currently the hot topic in the NFL after she was photographed holding hands and trolling with tight end Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. Neither has yet confirmed a romantic relationship. When asked whether Swift would be coming to Frankfurt for the Chiefs' game against the Miami Dolphins this Sunday (3.30 pm/RTL and DAZN), Kelce evaded the question.

Goodell grinned at the rumors. "We welcome everyone into the NFL family. If people want to know more about Travis Kelce, about the Chiefs or about the NFL because of Taylor Swift, that's a positive for us," said the NFL boss.

  1. Despite Swift's connection with the Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce, the upcoming Super Bowl in Las Vegas on February 11 will likely feature Usher as the main act, with Swift potentially performing during the half-time show in 2025 at the earliest.
  2. Many people are showing interest in the NFL due to Taylor Swift's association with player Travis Kelce, as she was recently photographed with him and has also attended his concerts.
  3. Roger Goodell, the NFL boss, expressed his enthusiasm for attending Taylor Swift's concerts and admired her entertainment skills, stating that he goes to her shows to see how she engages with the audience, demonstrating the NFL's welcoming attitude towards diverse fan bases.
