Residents of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland can look forward to sunny weather at the start of the week. The German Weather Service (DWD) forecasts high temperatures of around 30 degrees. However, rain is expected for Wednesday.

Throughout today, it will become increasingly sunny with temperatures between 25 and 28 degrees. On Tuesday, the sun will shine all day, with a few clouds here and there. Temperatures will rise to around 30 degrees in the afternoon. It will remain dry, even at night, with mild lows between 16 and 13 degrees.

Wednesday will be cloudy, with the possibility of rain and showers, especially in the first half of the day, and local thunderstorms. It will clear up again in the evening. High temperatures will range between 26 and 29 degrees. According to weather experts, Thursday will be mostly clear and sunny, with only occasional clouds.

The meteorological update states, "The following is added: Rain is expected on Wednesday, disrupting the sunny streak." The weather forecast for Thursday indicates a return to sunny conditions, with only occasional clouds.
