- Sunny and mild temperatures for the start of the week
The week starts mild and pleasant in Berlin and Brandenburg. Temperatures are expected to reach 22 to 24 degrees Celsius today, according to the German Weather Service. It will remain mostly clear to cloudy and dry throughout the day. A few more clouds will move in at night, with temperatures dropping to a fresh 13 to 8 degrees.
Tuesday will bring summer-like weather back to the region. Plenty of sunshine will warm the capital area to 26 to 28 degrees. Some relief comes with the night into Wednesday, with lows between 16 and 13 degrees.
Wednesday will be muggy and hot, with temperatures flirting with the 30-degree mark. From the afternoon onwards, more and more clouds will gather in the sky, bringing showers and local thunderstorms from west to east. Heavy rain is expected in some areas.
The German Weather Service predicts consistent weather patterns, with temperatures ranging from 13 to 28 degrees Celsius throughout the week. Despite the heat, scattered showers and local thunderstorms may disrupt Wednesday's otherwise sunny weather.
