Sun, clouds and mild temperatures are expected in Berlin and Brandenburg before the football weekend - but thunder and heavy rain are also possible. On Friday, the wind will blow forcefully at times, as the German Weather Service (DWD) predicts. Temperatures will rise to 21 to 24 degrees. Overwhelmingly in the northern part of Brandenburg, gusts of wind up to 50 km/h are expected. Elsewhere, the sun and clouds alternate. It remains mostly dry. At night, some clouds cover the sky. It cools down to 15 to 12 degrees. The wind blows only weakly.

The weekend begins sunny and partly cloudy. Temperatures reach summer-like highs of 26 to 31 degrees on Saturday. In the afternoon and evening, clouds and local thunderstorms move in. Weather experts expect strong thunderstorms with storm, heavy rain and hail in certain areas. Elsewhere, it is calm to moderately windy.

At night on Sunday, there are still showers or strong thunderstorms, which then move eastward. Afterwards, it clears up. Temperatures drop to 16 to 11 degrees. On Sunday, the sun shines between the clouds occasionally. It is mild, with high temperatures between 21 and 24 degrees.

During the soccer weekend, Berlin and Brandenburg might experience thunderstorms despite the initial prediction of sunny weather. The German Weather Service (DWD) warns of strong winds in certain areas of Brandenburg. On Saturday, temperatures soar, but thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected in the afternoon and evening. After Sunday night's showers and thunderstorms, temperatures decrease, with the city seeing sunny intervals amidst clouds.
