Summer weather with clouds and some thunderstorms

In the capital region, it remains hot. Some clouds shield the sun. Nevertheless, temperatures sometimes exceed 30°C. The following days bring hardly any cooling.

Berlin and Brandenburg can expect summery heat and isolated thunderstorms on Thursday as well. The German Weather Service predicts highs between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius, with temperatures reaching up to 32 degrees in the Lausitz region. The day will be mostly cloudy, with some sunshine in the south.

In the afternoon, there may be individual thunderstorms with heavy rain and hail along the Oder and Neiße rivers, which will move eastward in the evening. Afterwards, the weather will gradually improve. Overnight, temperatures will drop to between 19 and 14 degrees Celsius, with some clouds in the sky.

On Friday, temperatures will rise to 28 to 32 degrees Celsius. It will be partly cloudy and mostly dry throughout the day. Overnight into Saturday, temperatures will drop to 19 to 16 degrees Celsius. The weekend will start with many clouds. Some rain is expected in the northwest of Brandenburg. Temperatures will reach 25 degrees in the Prignitz and 31 degrees in the Niederlausitz. In Berlin, highs of around 29 degrees are expected.

The weather forecast for the Oder and Neiße rivers suggests the possibility of isolated thunderstorms with heavy rain and hail on Thursday afternoon. The overall weather prediction for Berlin and Brandenburg, however, indicates a summery heatwave, with temperatures reaching up to 32 degrees Celsius in the Lausitz region.
