During the closure period, steel girders will be installed at the western interchange to the A59. This measure is part of the construction site around the renovation of the Leverkusen Rhine Bridge. The first construction work was made available to traffic in 2024, and the completion of the sister bridge is expected to last approximately until the end of 2027.
