German Weather Service - Summer beginning in Saxony
In Saxony, summer temperatures determine the weather at the start of the week, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). With predominantly sunshine, highest temperatures of 24 to 27 degrees are expected. Only in the afternoon can some cloud formations be observed in the sky. The night cools down a bit: it is cloudless and dry with minimum temperatures of 8 to 13 degrees.
Tuesday is expected to have even higher temperatures. The thermometer could show up to 31 degrees. In addition, a light wind is noticeable and clouds are not expected.
Wednesday will be similar: with highest temperatures of 29 to 32 degrees, a weak northeastern wind blows. In some regions, the first showers and thunderstorms are expected at night.
The summer weather will depart by Thursday. With highest temperatures of 23 to 28 degrees, meteorologists expect showers and partial strong thunderstorms in many places after a sunny morning.
The German Weather Service (DWD) predicted that Tuesday in Saxony will see even higher temperatures, potentially reaching up to 31 degrees. On Wednesday, Saxony is expected to continue experiencing high temperatures, with the thermometer showing 29 to 32 degrees.
