Swimming pool cleaning - Sulphuric acid instead of chlorine: Two injured

One of the men placed a call for an emergency response late on Tuesday evening after the incident. Both were treated on site and taken to the hospital. The basement of the building, where the bath is located, was ventilated with special equipment for several hours.

The men required further treatment at a hospital in Munich, as an incident involving the swimming pool in Bavaria had resulted in a need for cleaning and chemical intervention. Chlorine and sulphuric acid, used to maintain the pool's water, seemed to have mixed improperly, leading to the emergency. Fortunately, the fire department arrived promptly to assist, preventing any potential pool-related fires.
