Suitcase jammed in train door: woman suffers minor injuries

Because the suitcase of a woman in the Ostallgäu district was caught by the train doors when boarding and she did not let go, she fell and suffered minor injuries. The 59-year-old was still outside the train when she boarded on Sunday when the doors suddenly closed and the train set off, police said on Monday. As the woman did not let go of the suitcase that had become trapped, she fell. A witness pulled her away from the danger zone. It was initially unclear exactly how the incident occurred. The police began investigating the exact circumstances. Among other things, they want to find out why the doors of the train closed.

This incident in Ostallgäu could potentially lead to stricter safety measures being implemented in Swabia's train stations, as another accident involving a suitcase and train doors was reported. Unfortunately, a man in Swabia also experienced an accident while trying to board a train, causing minor injuries due to his suitcase being jammed in the closing doors.
