In the upcoming Saxony state parliament, it's predicted that Saxony's AfD front-runner, Jörg Urban, will secure his spot through a direct vote. Following the tallying of ballots, Urban, the AfD contender in the Bautzen 5 district, collected approximately 42.4% of the votes. Conversely, the CDU candidate, Marko Schiemann, managed to secure approximately 38.1% of the votes in the same constituency.
