- Subsidized growth in organic farming production

The nation has backed the growth of the organic farm Heu-Heinrich in Neuhaus am Rennweg with around 1.9 million euros. These funds were put towards establishing a substantial hay drying and packing facility, according to the Ministry of Agriculture. This new facility will enable the company to significantly boost its production and processing capabilities, potentially creating up to four new employment opportunities. The overall expenditure for this project totals approximately 4.9 million euros.

The financial assistance originates from the "Investment Advancement for the Processing and Marketing of Agricultural Organic Products" initiative. The purpose of this program is to enhance the competitive edge and processing/marketing capacities of businesses. Previously, a sheep milk dairy in Asbach, which falls under the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district, and Kräutermühle GmbH based in Kölleda, within the Sömmerda district, have profited from this same scheme.

The "Investment Advancement for the Processing and Marketing of Agricultural Organic Products" initiative is designed to bolster the competitive edge and processing/marketing capacities of agricultural businesses. With the support from this initiative, Agriculture in Neuhaus am Rennweg is set to witness an expansion, as evidenced by the growth of organic farm Heu-Heinrich.
