Stuttgart Extends Contract of Prominent National Midfielder

VfB Stuttgart has ensured a long-term commitment for its reliable left back, who experienced an outstanding first year with the team, as per Maximilian Mittelstaedt's assessment.

German football team VfB Stuttgart has secured the services of international player Maximilian Mittelstädt for an additional two years, up until June 30, 2028. This announcement was made right before their home match against 1. FSV Mainz 05.

Mittelstädt joined the Stuttgart squad from relegated Bundesliga team Hertha BSC around twelve months ago. Since then, he has experienced significant progress. He finished second with Stuttgart and represented Germany in the EURO tournament held in their own country during the summer.

As mentioned by VfB's sports director, Fabian Wohlgemuth, "Ever since he joined us, he's made a remarkable journey." Mittelstädt himself added, "My first year in Stuttgart could not have been any better for me personally."

Fabian Wohlgemuth, the sports director of The Swabian VfB Stuttgart, praised Mittelstädt's improvement, mentioning his "remarkable journey" since joining the club. Showing his gratitude, Mittelstädt expressed happiness about his first year at The Swabian team, stating that it was "could not have been any better for me personally."
