The municipality of Grafschaft Bentheim - Students performed a far-right tune at a high school.
The school is contemplating whether to implement educational initiatives or disciplinary actions, they stated. "To respect the individual rights of students, none of the measures implemented will be shared within the school or externally," they added.
Thus far, only a few isolated incidents of students singing right-wing songs have occurred in Lower Saxony. Both school officials, educators, and staff are dedicated to ensuring all students understand that such racist and hateful chants are inappropriate.
"Here, we have a strict no-tolerance policy. We will not condone provocation, nor will we excuse it as a result of alcohol use or unchecked activities," the school authority proclaimed. They plan to work towards eradicating a hostile and unruly environment in Lower Saxony schools.
