Student unions to receive more money
The student unions in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern are to receive additional money from the state's energy hardship fund. The cabinet in Schwerin will discuss this at its meeting today (11.00 a.m.), according to a government spokesperson. According to this, it is about one million euros, so that the student unions would then receive a total of 2.14 million euros.
According to the government spokesperson, the Ministry of Science also wants to apply for additional funding for universities and university medical centers. The reason for this is the persistently high energy costs.
