Strobl calls BVG ruling a slap in the face for the federal government
Outgoing CDU state leader Thomas Strobl has described the Federal Constitutional Court's ruling on the supplementary budget for 2021 as a "slap in the face" for the red-green-yellow federal government. "It was a mystery to me that such a budget could be introduced and then passed in the Bundestag," he said at the CDU state party conference in Reutlingen on Saturday. The sustainable financial policy in Baden-Württemberg is a counter-example to what is being done in Berlin. "We don't do politics on credit and burden our children and grandchildren with it," said Strobl.
