Frozen field games: Ice hockey - Striker Rymsha joins Düsseldorfer EG.
The Düsseldorf EG has revealed Stürmer Drake Rymsha as their new recruit for the impending season in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). The 25-year-old center is transferring from Austrian champion EC Red Bull Salzburg to Rhineland. Throughout the previous season, Rymsha managed to score 13 goals in 42 games and was the league's finest adversary player.
"He's a driven forward who aims to add our game with enthusiasm," said DEG sports director Niki Mondt, explaining why they opted for Rymsha, who was chosen by the Los Angeles Kings in 2017 and played a lone NHL match for the American team in 2020.
