- Strengthened police controls on the roads
After the summer break in Saxony-Anhalt, the police will intensify traffic control. Between August 5th and 11th, the Ministry of the Interior has announced targeted operations during a week of action. The goal of these controls is to ensure greater safety on the roads. In recent months, there have been several days of intensified controls. Police officers are paying particular attention to distractions while driving, excessive speeds, or technical defects in vehicles. Further action weeks are planned for October and November.
Following the announcement of targeted operations during the week of action, the Police are expecting an increase in traffic during the holidays. To maintain safety on the roads during these busy periods, the intensified traffic controls will continue throughout the year.
