About the Elbe, hydrologists don't anticipate flooding. Although, the river is predicted to rise in the Czech Republic until Thursday. However, the increased water levels should not exceed warning levels for the first flood alert stage. In Dresden, for instance, there was a measurement of 2.72 meters in the afternoon, which falls into the normal range of 2 meters. Therefore, the Elbe water management is forecasted to experience minimal increase, with long-lasting peaks forming.

The predicted bad weather impacted Saxony less severely than initially anticipated. Fire departments have been mobilized for numerous missions due to flooded basements, waterlogged roads, and uprooted trees. Additionally, some areas experienced landslides and short-term floods.
