Onset of winter - Straubing Zoo and Augsburg Zoo closed
Due to the extreme onset of winter, Straubing Zoo and Augsburg Zoo remained closed on Saturday. According to the city, there was a risk of snow breakage in the facilities. Public transport was also temporarily suspended in both cities. Hellabrunn Zoo in Munich also remained closed.
