Ice hockey - Straubing Tigers get US defenseman Green
The Straubing Tigers have signed US-defender Alex Green for the upcoming season. According to the team from the German Ice Hockey League, the 26-year-old defenseman comes from the lower-tier American Hockey League, where he most recently played for the Chicago Wolves.
"Alex is a solid defender with experience in the American Hockey League! He plays with heart and brings the certain passion that our team needs. I am very proud that we have managed to sign him," said Sportchef Jason Dunham about the new addition.
The Straubing Tigers, a team from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL), are strengthening their defense for the upcoming season with the signing of US-defender Ales Green. Before joining Straubing, Green played in the lower-tier American Hockey League, specifically for the Chicago Wolves. Germany is not the only country Green has played ice hockey in, as his previous experience also includes time in the USA.
